What being a 30-something millennial with no kids, deep in a midlife crisis, actually looks like…
As Will Ferrell put it in Anchorman: “Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast!”
What was the moment you realized that you were way too deep into the hobby to ever back out? 🥲🫡

  3. Well, I’m not seriously defending it as I’m definitely someone who has to get every useless tool just for style or because I think it will make my workflow 0.1% better 😅

But if you look at it, buying 2 espressos for $6 each a day would cost you $4380 per year. So even if you spend like $100 a month on beans that still leaves plenty of change for gear 😉

Tell me about the grinder please! Pros/cons? How do you like it?

Pretty sure you can’t have a midlife crisis in your 30’s. That’s just a crisis.

Well actually, for me, I do 😅 I drink about 4 a day then my wife does about 2 on average. So 6 a day at 5euros a flattie (Paris) that’s 30 euros a day. Let’s assume the absolute max at actual 6 a day for the whole year – that’s €10,905…. Now let’s go even half of that 5,475… that’s still more than my setup: Micra, Mahlkonig E64 WS, goose kettle, Hario switch, and accessories. So… for me it does 🫣….
